Free on June 30, Antonio Rüdiger is announced in the crosshairs of PSG and Real Madrid. The Chelsea central defender has a preference for the rest of his career.
Antonio Rüdiger still gives his preference to Chelsea
Landed in 2017 from AS Roma, Antonio Rüdiger plays his final year of engagement with Chelsea. In discussions with his management for an extension, the German international is quite greedy by claiming a salary of 234.000 euros where the European champion sets for limit 140.000 euros per week after ESPN. Too big a gap that the 28-year-old central defender refuses to accept. Negotiations between the two parties are therefore deadlocked while the Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are already signaling themselves in this file.
With physical problems of Sergio Ramos, the Parisian managers are looking for a new one to his position and Mauricio Pochettino validated the profile of Rüdiger. On the Madrid side, although David Alaba arrived this summer from Bayern Munich, the Merengues want an additional defender to compensate for the loss of the duo Sergio Ramos – Raphaël Varane. The two European giants are particularly willing to offer the Blues number 2 the salary he dreams of. However, the American sports channel assures that Rüdiger still gives his preference to Chelsea, even if the current 2nd in the Premier League does not plan to raise his extension offer.
Chelsea refuse to align with Rüdiger’s demands
At the insistence of his coach Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea want to extend their central defender Antonio Rüdiger, currently linked until June 2022. The Daily Telegraph confirms that the player is demanding a big raise. He who currently receives 117,000 euros weekly, refused a salary of 140,000 euros and wants to almost double his income. Also according to the British tabloid, the residents of Stamford Bridge do not intend to align themselves with the demands of Rüdiger. A departure in January would now be considered to avoid seeing him leave for free next summer.
Case to follow therefore…
