This cyclone is considered “intense”. It could be accompanied by gusts of wind over 200 km/h and heavy rain.

The authorities warn of the risks associated with the passage of this cyclone, the second in a few weeks to affect Madagascar.

Cyclone Batsirai passed two days ago near the French island of Reunion, bringing torrential rains.
